BoodiGo Partners with PornGuardian to Prevent Listing of Known Piracy Sites
Adult search engine BoodiGo.com announced today that it has partnered with anti-piracy service PornGuardian to screen out known piracy sites from the BoodiGo search responses, providing another layer of assurance that when consumers use BoodiGo, the sites they find will be legitimate and lawful.
“PornGuardian has been very active in targeting sites with DMCA take-down notices, and over the years they have built an extensive list of sites that are repeat offenders, or that appear to tolerate or even actively promote content piracy,” said BoodiGo co-founder Colin Rowntree. “We don’t want these known ‘bad apples’ anywhere near the rest of our bunch, as it were. And, more often than not, the sites on this “bad list” are ones infected with viruses and malware. Yet another compelling reason to exclude them from Boodigo search results.”
PornGuardian co-founder Peter Phinney said that his company is “to help prevent piracy sites from appearing on this unique search engine,” adding that PornGuardian is well-positioned to assist, having now effected the removal of close to 10 million copyright infringements from the web.
“Piracy hurts everyone – often in subtle ways that go unmentioned,” Phinney said. “Not only does content theft and illegal distribution raise the cost of producing content, it also circumvents all of the protections that legitimate sites work so diligently to put in place and insure that adult content is confined to an adult audience.”
While the public often holds adult entertainment companies responsible, Phinney notes that “parents who complain that the internet is ‘full of pornography’ often are unaware that the adult images appearing today online outside of adults only age verified venues are almost exclusively stolen material.”
“Our industry has worked very diligently for years to protect children from accessing content not intended for them,” Porn Guardian partner Dominic Ford said. “We have also worked diligently to insure that only consumers who opt-in for our content are ever exposed to it. It’s the cyber criminals, often overseas and frequently supported by organized crime, who push sexual images on the wider audience including children. Boodigo is a terrific new tool to help return distribution to the people who produce the content. We wholeheartedly support that effort.”

Move over, Google. There’s a new search engine in town, and it’s most definitely not safe for work. BoodiGo allows you to anonymously “search [for] what you’re really looking for” — a.k.a. porn.
BoodiGo is the brainchild of porn producer and director Colin Rowntree at BDSM Site Wasteland.com, who is fed up with current search engine algorithms. According to Rowntree, sites like Google and Bing bury legitimate — as in, not pirated — porn websites in their search results.
Just like piracy is a huge issue for Hollywood, it’s also a problem for the adult entertainment industry. When people don’t pay for the content they’re viewing, it’s detrimental to everyone who put work into that content — regardless of whether it’s PG or X-rated…
