Maitland Ward Delivers ‘Mistress Maitland 2’ Finale With ‘Teeth’
This Friday sees the release release of “Teeth,” the dramatic conclusion to Deeper and director Kayden Kross’ high-profile sequel Mistress Maitland 2 starring reigning AVN Best Leading Actress Maitland Ward. The four-episode follow-up to last year’s AVN Best BDSM Movie or Anthology winner—whiched topped viewership records, and sold out its DVD inventory 15 times—Mistress Maitland 2 elevates the story to a new level, Ward says.
“After the breakout success of the original Mistress Maitland, Kayden and I wanted to bring the character back in a big, bold and meaningful way,” Ward offered. “She wrote such a compelling showcase series for me that really tells the story of who the character is, and how she became what is now my signature persona with the brand.”

The miniseries kicked off in May with “Safety in Numbers,” an all-anal scene co-starring Emily Willis and Mick Blue. “Overtaken” offered a dueling domination with Bridgette B., co-starring Nathan Bronson. “Delegate” was a chart-topping hit, featuring the epic first-ever pairing of Ward and Kross (co-starring Troy Francisco), and “Teeth,” a mysterious masked affair à la Eyes Wide Shut, co-stars Lulu Chu, April Olsen, Jasmine Wilde and Isiah Maxwell.

Ward mused that Mistress Maitland’s achievements and accolades are largely due to the symbiotic relationship she shares with her Deeper director. “Kayden knows me so well that she’s able to write for me in such a way that heightens and challenges me as an actress and a performer … and our scene together was really the epic cherry on top!”
