Prestigious Acknowledgement Recognizes Years of Successful Contributions at CatalystCon, Including drake’s Highly Attended Panels & Sex Worker Meet Ups!

CHICAGO (April 11, 2016) – Adult performer and Wicked Pictures contract star jessica drake was awarded the prestigious Catalyst Award at this year’s CatalystCon Midwest 2016 for the impactful work she has done as a sex educator. The bi-annual conference, now in its fifth year, gives the award each year to the speaker who “Inspires Exceptional Conversations in Sexuality.” Since CatalystCon’s inception, drake has been a keynote speaker and a panelist on multiple occasions.

Acclaimed Sex Educator/Performer to Join Educational Panel on Saturday, April 2 in Chicago! 

CHICAGO (March 31, 2016) – Sex educator and Wicked Pictures contract performer jessica drake will explore the controversial topic of slut shaming at CatalystCon Midwest, on Saturday, April 2 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago. She will speak from 3 to 4 p.m. as part of a panel titled, “Slut-Shaming: Taking on Intolerance About Our Open, Unashamed Sexualities,” located in the hotel’s Rosemont Ballroom.

“I’m very excited to join so many activists, sex educators, sex workers, and adult industry members once again for CatalystCon,” drake said. “I bring yet another voice to this much needed discussion on the topic of slut-shaming, or the harmful, judgmental finger-pointing against women. Newest Ban of Squirt.org Public Ads Raises Questions of Sexual Discrimination & Obscenity

Cardiff Council in Wales Removes ASA Approved Ads for International Gay Cruising & Hookup Site Squirt.org!

CARDIFF, Wales (February 9, 2016) –– Public advertisements for Squirt.org continue to come under fire, as the newest controversy is currently underway in Cardiff. Earlier today, the Cardiff council banned ads from the international gay cruising and hookup website and removed posters from bus stops in the Welsh capital city. The ads featuring two gay men, one with his shirt open, were removed despite being approved by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).

The removal of the Squirt.org poster and ban on subsequent ads is the most recent incident involving complaints against the company’s advertising practices. The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) recently removed Squirt’s ads, while the Netherlands’ Advertising Standards Board ruled in favor of the ads despite public complaints.
